VoIP Logic Partners With XConnect to Deliver VoIP Peering to Its Customers Worldwide

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

VoIP Logic, a global provider of VoIP managed services and solutions, has deployed XConnect's (News - Alert) Local Directory Server at its facilities, enabling its hosted customers to have a local query to the XConnect Registry and route calls based on ENUM to a database of over 800 Million telephone numbers, according to the companies.

"XConnect's VoIP Peering (News - Alert) services enable more calls to stay on-net and positions service providers to offer their customers wide-band codecs, video and other new services enhancements that can only exist on IP calls," said Micah Singer (News - Alert), VoIP Logic CEO. "We are pleased to partner with XConnect and expect a great deal of interest from our customers.”

From VoIP Managed Services to its Cortex middleware system, VoIP Logic (News - Alert) delivers a comprehensive set of on-demand solutions for service providers looking to use VoIP technology. The company empowers telecommunications service providers worldwide to build and manage customized, flexible and scalable IP telephony rollouts.

“Since our inception in 2003, VoIP Logic has repeatedly proven its ability to create and sustain recurring revenue for itself and its partners, and as one of the industry's true success stories and as such, we look forward to a very successful, mutually beneficial relationship," said Singer.

Eli Katz, founder and CEO of XConnect, said VoIP Logic's inclusion of XConnect's services in their eco (News - Alert)-system of solutions demonstrates that Registry-based services are of strategic value to next generation operators.

"The more than 150 service providers that rely on VoIP Logic for comprehensive managed services will now be able to reduce their termination costs and offer the innovative new services that multi-lateral VoIP Peering enables," said Katz.
