Nectar Integrates with CRI Application Center for Managed Services

By Jai C.S., TMCnet Contributor

Nectar Services Corp recently announced its deal with Communication Resources, Inc. (CRI) to integrate its Converged Management Platform (CMP) into CRI's Application Center.

Nectar Services Corp. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Juma (News - Alert) Technology Corp is an IP communications software firm specializing in managed services for voice and data networks. Nectar’s offerings include the Converged Management Platform (CMP) and Enterprise Session Management (ESM).

Nectar's (News - Alert) CMP technology adds extended remote monitoring capabilities; correlation with network issues and real business processes; reduced problem-resolution timeframes to keep business operating smoothly; reduced management burden on internal staff.

Having served the industry for twenty years, CRI created a position for itself in messaging and unified communications sector. It is an Avaya (News - Alert) Gold Business Partner, an Avaya DevConnect Partner, a certified vmware developer, a Microsoft and IBM business partner.  CRI’s Application Center is noted as an innovative and reliable unified communications solution leveraging virtualization and offering "Private Cloud" computing environments based on Avaya Unified Communications (News - Alert) applications.

Announced in 2010, the CRI Application Center offers worldwide support with complete and automatic failover; call preservation; zero application downtime on failovers; seamless application upgrades; stackable architecture for increased capacity & functionality; highly reliable storage technology; DR configurations.

"CRI's approach to serving their enterprise clients by providing extremely reliable, fault-tolerant voice and data services to national and multinational businesses is truly exciting," Anthony Servidio, chairman and chief executive officer at Nectar said in a statement.

"They are a market leader in creativity, innovation and engineering, and have done the hard work necessary to take the burden of managing through the complexities of the transition to an all-IP environment out of the way so that enterprises never have to worry about whether their services work. We're thrilled to announce this new partnership and to go to market together with CMP embedded in CRI's solution," Servidio added.

"We recognize the need for fault tolerance and seamless communication, and by adding Nectar's CMP capabilities into our environment, we further advance our ability to manage often complex, distributed networks on behalf of our enterprise customers," said Robert Gill, president and chief executive officer at CRI said.

"Our teams will integrate CMP's full suite of features, from real-time alarming to statistical reporting, bringing even more value to our current customers and our expanding marketplace as more enterprises move up to unified communications," Gill added.

Earlier in December, CRI announced the successful completion of a voicemail migration project for a large US Federal Agency. The company worked in collaboration with Common Voices to complete this project.
