Safeharbor Knowledge Solutions has revealed that Wade Pfeiffer has joined the company as its new president and CEO. Mark Schelbert, board member and partner with Shackleton Equity Partners, a Safeharbor investor, said that knowledge management software is only as good as the editorial content that’s in it.

A veteran of the Customer Experience and Knowledge Management industry, Pfeiffer brings his more than 20 years of executive leadership and operational experience to the business.

Most recently, he served as the general manager and senior vice president of nGenera’s (News - Alert) Customer Interaction Management (CIM) division (now Moxie Software, Customer Spaces). Prior to that, Pfeiffer was the chief operating officer of Talisma, a CIM software company, which was sold to nGenera in 2008.

Safeharbor is a knowledge management company that offers knowledge management SaaS solutions, fully-managed online content publishing and optimization services as well as contact center services.

Pfeiffer believes that Safeharbor’s longstanding expertise and deep understanding of knowledge management are the foundation for the development of next-generation SaaS solutions.
