Message Technologies, Inc. (MTI (News - Alert)), a provider of hosted Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, has announced that its new hosting facilities in Tampa, Florida, are now operational. The officials from MTI said the new data center will allow the company to expand its range of services and serve its customers, partners and carriers in a better way.


Built entirely on IETF and W3C (News - Alert) standards, the new data center boasts sophisticated interactive voice response (IVR), speech recognition, text-to-speech and computer-telephony integration technologies, enabling MTI to handle a large number of calls. Officials from MTI said in a statement that the additional data center will enable MTI to help companies design an effective business continuity strategy for their IVR systems.

“The Tampa data center deployment was the next logical step in response to the growing demand for IVR as a service,” said Justin Simkavitz, president of Message Technologies (News - Alert), Inc. “The addition of Tampa means we can now provide our customers with additional services and we can use the capacity to continue our expansion. Given the market demand for cloud based IVR, we've outgrown our existing facilities and as a result we needed additional redundancy and capacity to handle the company’s growth for at least the next two years.”

MTI offers speech and IVR solutions to more than 2,000 customers in North America and around the world. These solutions provide effective ways of interacting with customers and employees over the phone, while minimizing the use of costly live agents. The company is an expert in VoiceXML (News - Alert) hosting and handling every part of the speech self-service infrastructure including trunk and platform provisioning, business continuation planning, monitoring, Web access, physical and logical security and co-location. MTI also provides senior telephony and speech professional services for the design, development, deployment, and ongoing testing of IVR applications.
