ImpulsePay, a U.K. Payforit provider, recently started using C3's (News - Alert) Fusion IVR as a basis to develop its own interactive consumer assistance. Previously, the company was using a competing IVR (interactive voice response) solution but it didn't satisfy all of ImpulsePay's requirements — namely precise control and flexibility.
The choice to switch to C3's Fusion IVR stems from ImpulsePay's recent expansion as new merchants sign on and Payforit transactions increase by the month. In fact, the company stated earlier this year that, though much of the U.K. mobile payments industry is stagnating, ImpulsePay's Payforit figures remain strong.
This growth brought on new needs, which led to ImpulsePay's search for a new IVR solution that could meet these needs.
“Fusion IVR offers us significant functionality, at the same time as being incredibly easy to use,” said Adam Williams, chief operating officer at ImpulsePay, in a statement. ?“This means we can quickly launch advanced voice services and change them at the click of a button. That level of flexibility is important to us as we continue to grow the business.”
Payforit is the name of the U.K. mobile payment service that replaced SimPay. It was founded jointly by Vodafone (News - Alert), Orange, 3, T-Mobile and O2. The aim of Payforit is to streamline mobile payments in brick and mortar stores, while making all relevant transaction immediately available at the time of business.
As it is quick, standardized and simple to use, Payforit has been gaining significant momentum lately, which ImpulsePay has been quick to capitalize on through new developments such as enhanced single-click payment — a feature that has helped merchants significantly increase their mobile revenue. Meanwhile, the company has been expanding its customer service team to ensure its quality of support matches the quality of its service, even during periods of growth.
?“We are always working hard to make sure ImpulsePay provides the best Payforit offering available.” added Williams. “An increase in overall capacity, as well as heavy investment in our server infrastructure, means we’re able to provide the most robust Payforit solution on the market.”
