IVR on the Rise, Kinesis and CMS Ink Agreement
May 03, 2010
Toledo, Ohio-based CMS Research offers customized, integrated IVR surveys and focused data collection. "CMS is excited about our collaboration with Kinesis to elevate the data collection capabilities of both companies," said James Cummins, president at CMS Research.
Kinesis is a provider of a comprehensive survey and panel management product suite to advance innovation in both wireless and Web-based market research. The company offers Kinesis Survey, a web/wireless survey solution for market research.
"Kinesis offers an outstanding Web and wireless survey solution, and the addition of an IVR alternative makes the platform a truly comprehensive one," Cummins said.
Touted as the only multimode, multilingual solution in the world, Kinesis Survey enables survey execution from computers and various wireless devices including mobile phones.
As per the partnership agreement, CMS Research's IVR platform will be offered as an alternative response mechanism for Kinesis Survey mobile survey participants when desired. Company officials said that the addition of IVR offers an audio-only survey response option in addition to the solution's full interactive capabilities.
Kinesis Survey is one of the most robust and flexible survey software solutions in the industry, said Juha Vehnia, CTO at Kinesis, adding that the addition of IVR technology furthers this goal, and CMS Research is the ideal partner because of their vast IVR experience and high-quality services.
Last month, MarketTools announced that Kinesis integrated MarketTools TrueSample into their Kinesis Survey platform, enabling the platform to provide real-time validation that survey respondents are real, unique, and engaged.
