Abaqus Boosts its bizMessage Enterprise SMS Service with IVRDecember 24, 2012
Abaqus has added geo-tagged IVR capability to its bizMessage enterprise SMS service. The solution now has a new geo-tagged Interactive Voice Response (IVR) feature for new mobile-time clocking and worker accountability. The enhanced solution is also suited for job status notification as well as HOS data for back-end fleet management systems. Abaqus bizMessage enterprise SMS service taps the company’s carrier-grade myGeoTracking location service platform to enable cellphone users to trigger a location event. This can be done by using an IVR phone call or special SMS code command after which job status and work events are sent to the company or field force manager of the cellphone users. Through this process, an organization can easily collect location tagged status information from its field force for job status verification and mobile time-clocking and billing. “Abaqus’ myGeoTracking applications have helped us comply with tracking & reporting requirements for our USG business,” said Jeff Linville, CEO Piedmont Logistics Inc, in a statement. “This level of fine-grained control is another step-up in the overall efficiency of our fleet operation,” said Jeff Linville, CEO Piedmont Logistics Inc. Abaqus notes that its myGeoTracking mobile workforce management solution can pin down the location of any phone or wireless device. This solution can integrate with several back-office programs and provides useful real-time location, easy messaging and team job status reports. Abaqus allows companies to improve its assets’ and resources’ productivity and ROI.
