Plum Voice, a single-source provider of IVR systems, has partnered with Tyler Technologies (News - Alert) to expand its IVR system within Tyler’s portfolio.
As an end-to-end information management solutions and services provider for local governments, the agreement with Plum Voice delivers an added layer of support to Tyler’s public sector clients.
“With IVR technology, they can extend capabilities of their customer service channel and offer more efficient service to their citizens,” said Brad Green, chief operating officer for Eden Enterprise Resource Planning solution at Tyler.
The platform will enable Tyler to deploy an automated voice application as part of its Eden ERP solution designed for the public sector. The company believes that Plum Voice’s IVR technology will enhance account management functionality of their citizen-facing application designed for local governments and municipalities by adding a system to automate a business process over the phone.
Andrew Kuan, CEO at Plum Voice, said that Plum Voice’s dynamic VoiceXML (News - Alert) IVR platform and hosted services will support Tyler’s underlying telephony application for its customers and establish a way to automate a repetitive, but critical business practice.
“This partnership is a natural extension of our business because as IVR system specialists, we are able to supply a cost-effective, high-performance and versatile solution to Tyler Technologies to help them better serve their customers,” Kuan said.
Thanks to Plum’s IVR solution, Tyler’s customers can now automate routine, day-to-day phone-based operations. Company officials said that IVR can handle numerous and common account inquires such as current balance, overdue bills, payment history as well as bill pay transactions.
“Plum Voice’s professional services combined with their easy-to-use, all-in-one solution allowed us to effortlessly configure the Tyler application and implement an IVR extension,” Green said.
Using VoiceXML platform, Plum Voice offers businesses, across several industries, with a reliable way to deploy IVR solutions. Company officials said that its versatile hosted IVR infrastructure scales seamlessly to grow with and complement a company’s business needs.
