Elite Telecom has been named among the fastest growing technology companies in the U.K. for the third time.
Officials with Elite Telecom said that the company has been ranked 74 in the Sunday Times Tech Track league table in acknowledgement of impressive sales growth, which has seen turnover grow by an impressive 42 per cent year on year.
Company officials said that the company provides specialist business telecoms services such as call queuing and network IVR systems to a range of SME and multinational clients.
“Tech Track 100 is the ultimate guide to who’s who in the U.K. technology sector and to be included for the third successive year is a clear sign that we are firmly on the map,” said Matt Newing, founder and chief executive of Elite Telecom, in a statement.
Newing said that the focus at Elite Telecom has always been on maintaining strong client relationships and devising innovative solutions.
“We are able to twin major clients with state-of-the-art products, maximizing the value we offer to their business,” he said.
Newing said that maintaining this level of concerted growth is at the top of the company’s agenda for the coming year and already the company is looking forward to securing an even higher ranking in next year’s list.
Recently, the company announced that Simon Cutler, European sales director at Elite Telecom, was voted Lancashire Young Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors.
The 36 year-old, who looks after some of Elite’s largest clients picked up the accolade after helping the company achieve record turnover in the last year.
Cutler, who has been with Elite since its foundation more than ten years ago, said the prize was recognition of the company’s growth and achievements.
“When we first started Elite Telecom in a small room with a leaking roof, we could scarcely see the business growing to its present scale,” said Cutler.
“To receive such an accolade from an organization as prestigious as the IOD reflects how far we’ve come. We have always had a strong team ethic at Elite and it was a real privilege to pick up this award on behalf of the entire team,” he said.
