IPTV solutions supplier Espial (News - Alert) will be one of the sponsors of the Promax/BDA Africa conference, being held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa on Oct. 25 and 26.
The Promax/BDA Awards recognize excellence in on-air promotion, marketing and broadcast design. Based on the success of the first Promax/BDA Africa conference and award show held in Johannesburg in November 2006, this year’s Promax/BDA Africa is slated to be even bigger, according to conference organizer Vanessa Sheldrick.
"Promax/BDA Africa 2007 will mirror the same schedule as last year but we will have even more speakers and a greater variety of topics. We have planned a comprehensive workshop which is a beginner's guide to TV promotions and ideal for junior promo producers,” Sheldrick said.
The African edition of Promax/BDA runs along the same lines as the other international events which include networking opportunities, awards, interactive sessions that cover both local and international issues, keynote sessions and parties at the end of each day.
Sheldrick added she is thrilled to announce that last year's sponsors are on board again. DStv/M-Net and SABC whose support is invaluable to the continued success of Promax/BDA Africa have returned as Gold Sponsors. "We're also happy to welcome back our Silver sponsors e.tv, SuperSport, Clearwater, Orijin New Media Agency, Masters & Savant, Rapid Blue, Studio Zoo and media partner Screen Africa. New Silver sponsors are Red Pepper, Espial and Discovery Europe."
The Promax show recognizes industry leaders in the rapidly changing broadcast media world, just as Espial is considered an industry leader in the emerging world of IPTV (News - Alert). Espial
