TMCnet in February reported that NTT America (News - Alert) is looking to stay at the forefront of cloud solutions by being one of the first infrastructure hosting providers in the world to launch a hosted cloud solution based on VMware’s vCloud Director virtualization software into the company’s cloud hosting offerings.
The move will allow organizations of all sizes to capitalize on the advantages of utility-based cloud computing.
The VMware vCloud Director, first introduced last August, builds on VMware vSphere to provide a complete, out-of-the-box solution that enables IT organizations to act as true service providers for the businesses they support, according to VMware.
