IP Softswitch: ITel PC Dialer Offers Smooth VoIP Voice, SIP Interoperability

If you’re looking for a desktop client to make VoIP calls, you’ll probably want one available in your own brand, compatible with all standard the IP softswitch, and that offers smooth quality voice - most probably with a smart echo-cancellation feature.



So you’ll want to check out REVE System’s iTel PC Dialer – this will allow you to start making VoIP calls from your computer over IP networks. As company officials say,  “the iTel PC dialer is fully compatible with iTel Switch Plus and other standard SIP switches.”

As far as the full branding option goes, yes, it’s available with iTel PC Dialer. What this means is that it can be made to look and feel fully customized according to you, the service provider’s, wishes.

And yes, the iTel PC Dialer, according to company officials, will work with any standard SIP switch -- “for example, it works smoothly with Asterisk Software or Asterisk Softswitch, VoIP Switch, DIGITALK (News - Alert), Nexgen, Porta, iTel Switch Plus,” as well as any other option you want to use.

It’s engineered to offers relatively easy control of speaker and microphone volumes, and end users can see their balance on the Balance Display Panel.

Running down some other key features of the product, company officials say it has a call log facility for all successful calls, phonebook integration and support for G729 and G711 codecs. It also allows the use of an efficient echo canceller -- still important for some VoIP networks.

The product uses comfort noise generation technology for better end users' experience, can pass through any presently available firewall in combination with iTel Byte Saver -- and can work smoothly in a low bandwidth scenario with iTel Byte Saver.
