4PSA, a cloud computing and unified communications software technology company, has been awarded interoperability certification by Yealink for its line of SIP telephones when used with the VoipNow Professional software platform.
“With the completion of an extensive testing process we are now able to add Yealink (News - Alert) to a growing list of certified manufacturing partners that meet the compatibility requirements necessary for 4PSA to endorse their products,” said Mike Ross (News - Alert), president of 4PSA, in a statement.
Ross said that when using any VoIP component, it is critical that standards are met and maintained in order for the enterprise customers to fully utilize and benefit from the capabilities of VoipNow Professional.
He said that although a relatively recent entry into the SIP telephone market, Yealink has gained global recognition for their SIP compliance, reliability, design, features, product range, innovation and overall value.
Ross said that it is clear that Yealink is rapidly becoming a recognized brand in the enterprise IP Telephony arena.
“Both of our companies maintain ISO 9001 certification indicating that we follow management processes that reflect our focus on quality and user experience," said Ross.
He said that this kind of commitment is the heart of 4PSA’s relationship with a company such as Yealink. Product excellence is very important to both companies in this rapidly growing industry.
“We are very pleased to certify the interoperability of our award-winning products with the 4PSA VoipNow Platform,” said Stone Lu, vice president of Yealink.
Lu said that the cooperation between Yealink and 4PSA will now provide the ultimate in productivity and a great end-user experience for IP Telephony users.
“We are excited about the opportunities that will come from a partner like 4PSA," Lu said, "and we intend to work closely with 4PSA in the future.”
Officials with 4PSA said that to simplify the provisioning and maintenance of Yealink phones, the company will add support to the provisioning system in the next version of VoipNow Professional, scheduled for September 2010.
This will add Yealink to a respectable list of phone vendors already included.
