SPIRIT's Technlogy Boost snom 870 Enterprise-Grade VoIP Phones

Berlin-based snom technology AG (News - Alert) announced that it has given its newest phones a louder, clearer voice – literally.
 
The developer and manufacturer of advanced Voice over IP phones has licensed SPIRIT’s TeamSpirit Voice Engine Embedded” technology to improve the reliability of “HD Audio” features on its touch-screen desktop snom 870 IP phone.
 
The snom 870 is the latest addition to the company’s “8” series of fourth-generation SIP phones for small and mid-size business markets.
 
And now, thanks to the application from SPIRIT – a provider of carrier-grade voice, video and audio communication software engines – the snom 870 phones will provide clearer sound quality. Infused with SPIRIT’s technology, the snom 870 is transformed into a “smart” high-end user terminal that delivers wideband voice over congested networks, SPIRIT’s general manager Alex Kravchenko, said in a press statement.
 
“We are pleased to partner with snom, a world famous developer of SIP phones, which combine advanced IP telephony features and elegant design with an affordable cost,” said Kravchenko. “snom’s new IP-phone successfully blends high quality HD Audio delivered by the comprehensive set of advanced voice processing technologies, packed into the SPIRIT’s Engine, with a great variety of innovative IP-based business services and applications.”
 
According to both companies, snom 870 was designed for information-rich business activities for enterprises as well as small and mid-size businesses markets. The fourth-generation SIP phone, sports modern design and extended multimedia capabilities. Its “smart” end-user terminal features a number of carrier-supported business-crucial IP-services and applications, including HD audio quality IP-telephony, unified communications and customer relationship management.
