The German IP phone provider Snom Technology AG has just released their newest premium model D765 Executive Desk Telephone with Color Display. This new model is a higher end installment of their Global 700 Blackline Series and offers a full suite of options aimed at executives.
Snom’s newest model, as a tool for top-of-the-food chain executives, prioritizes convenience and functionality. It’s Bluetooth compatible, pairs with existing telephony infrastructures, and sleek enough to look at home on any executive’s desk. It comes with 16 programmable function keys to adapt to any executive’s personal routine, while also equipped with Snom’s Digital Signal Processor (News - Alert) for the brand’s clearest audio experience.
The technical specs are impressive: the phone has a 3.5 inch high-res color display, an Ethernet switch compatible with both VLAN and IEEE (News - Alert) 802.3 connectivity, and the ability to support twelve SIP user accounts while self-regulating appropriate security measures.
CEO of Snom Nadahl Shocair commented, “Our German engineering is globally renowned for making the best business telephones in the world with precise and robust industrial designs, superb audio and high-quality feature-rich software and hardware technologies that address the needs and requirements of successful businesses across the world. Additionally, as fraudulent activity on company telephone networks is costly and on the increase, the latest family of handsets are engineered and designed to meet the security requirements of business and professional practitioners”.
Other installments in the D700 Series are the D715 and D725, both of which the D765 outpaces; executives seeking a more advanced model should turn to the D800 Series, which comes equipped with touch screen capabilities.
The IP phone market grows more and more competitive, even with the proliferation of video conferencing and BYOD practices. This latest Snom product may not revolutionize the industry – or make you any more excited to hold a conference call – but it’s a solid addition to the company’s already impressive lineup.
