Technology has vastly changed the way businesses operate today. It has increased productivity, the ease of communication and work flexibility. With the growing number of businesses of all shapes and sizes adopting conferencing solutions for its many benefits today’s announcement from Yealink is answering customer demand.
Today, Yealink unveiled two new offerings, the SIP-T27P VoIP Phone (News - Alert) and the CP860 conference phone. The CP 860 marks Yealink’s (News - Alert) first conference phone, it would’ve fooled me, as its features make it on par with veterans in the space.
The CP 860 boasts a plethora of features that include:
- Up to 5-way conferencing
- 3.5 mm port for interfacing audio devices
- SIP interoperable and PoE compatible
- Supports call recording via USB
- 360-degree, 10-foot microphone pickup
If the space calls for it, the new conferencing phone allows one to connect up to two Yealink CPE80 expansion microphones.
The second piece of the announcement, Yealink’s SIP-T27P Phone was designed with the user in mind. It has optimized the user experience by making it easier to access important and readily used features. The SIP-T27P Phone offers eight programmable line keys, which utilize the phone’s display for labeling. The phone’s keys can support up to 21 programmable functions, and with the push of a button the user can scroll through the three page display.
The new IP Phone touts the following features:
- Six line appearances
- Eight line keys with three-page view
- Dual switch ports with PoE
- SIP interoperability
These and many other Yealink offerings can be found at IP Warehouse, where one doesn’t simply buy a solution; they also gain Yealink-certified support.
Yealink has come roaring into the video conferencing scene this month. First, it released its inaugural video conferencing systems, and now it has taken its expertise in IP phones and turned it into an exceptional conferencing phone. Only time will tell, of course, but I’d keep an eye on Yealink.
