Yealink Announces Interoperability Partnership with Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office
By Lavanya Rathnam, TMCnet Contributing Writer

Yealink (News - Alert) is a manufacturer and supplier of IP phones. Since 2001, Yealink has been manufacturing innovative IP phones, IP video phones and USB phones for buyers in more than 140 countries. It specializes in making low-carbon phones that pass more than 80 interoperability tests and certifications established by different VoIP platforms around the world.

Recently, Yealink announced that its T2x series is interoperable with Alcatel-Lucent's (News - Alert) communication platform - OmniPCX office. This certification was done within the scope and regulations established by Alcatel-Lucent's Application Partner Program (AAPP). These certifications have opened up many affordable and efficient options for the IP market and have given customers a larger range of choices.

Yealink's T2x product comes with a 2 X 15 character LCD display screen, a headset and a TITAN chipset. The prominent features of this product include two VoIP accounts, enhanced security protection and high-definition audio for better call quality. It works with all IP-PBX (News - Alert) telephone systems to give users a high degree of convenience and reliability. This product has the trademark high performance, easy deployment and affordable pricing that have become a permanent feature of all Yealink's products.

This is a big step for Yealink as it broadens the scope for its products. This interoperability partnership is beneficial for Alcatel-Lucent too as its customers can enjoy excellent quality IP phones for a reasonable cost. This makes it a win-win situation for the companies as well as their customers.

Such partnerships are key to strengthen the telecommunications industry. It is hoped that such beneficial agreements between phone manufacturers and service providers will give the highest quality of service to the end users.
