Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), a manufacturer of IP voice and video telephony and video surveillance solutions, successfully completed interoperability testing between its series of GXP IP Phones/GXV IP Multimedia Phones and Broadsoft’s new Broadworks Release 18.SP1 VoIP Communications platform.
Broadsoft BroadWorks is a VoIP applications platform and provides revenue-generating voice features for service providers across the world. One of the most popular VoIP platforms in the world, BroadWorks offerings include hosted PBX (News - Alert)/IP Centrex, business trunking, IP dial tone and class features and enhanced overlay services for wireless users.
BroadWorks provides a complete device management solution for integrating, deploying, and managing access devices. Supported access devices include analog terminal adapters (ATAs), IP phones, integrated access devices (IADs) and IP PBX equipment or any access device that uses XML/HTTP for profile management.

Li also emphasized that Grandstream is committed to maintaining full interoperability between its updated product lines and Broadsoft’s latest software version, in a periodic manner, to assure service providers that Grandstream endpoint products will work seamlessly with the various version of the BroadWorks unified communications platform.
This interoperability ensures Broadsoft’s 500 telecommunication service provider customers worldwide offering unified communications solutions to SMB, enterprise and residential customers have seamless integration with Grandstream voice and video endpoints.
Fifteen Grandstream desktop devices, including the new GXP2200 Enterprise Application Phone (News - Alert) for Android, were certified. All HD phones and videophones support automated XML provisioning with BroadWorks device management software, making it quick and easy to mass deploy devices seamlessly and cost-effectively.
Grandstream’s recently released GXP2200 Enterprise Application Phone for Android (News - Alert) was certified with Broadsoft BroadWorks along with the entire family of GXP Series of Enterprise SIP Telephones. The GXP Series of Enterprise SIP telephones provide business and call center customers affordability, best-in-class HD audio, a comprehensive set of advanced call features, multi-language support, security protection, simplified management, automated provisioning with TR-069 or HTTPS, broad SIP interoperability, advanced XML customization and more.
