With the requirements of integrators, interior designers and tech-savvy homeowners becoming more demanding, the buzz of automation and clamor for connected devices is getting louder. But does that mean aesthetics takes a back seat?
Not really – Crestron, a manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems, has made available its Core 3 UI-powered 10-inch TSW-1050 touchscreen that combines power and beauty by providing an interactive, dynamic and rich user interface that leverages the power of Adobe (News - Alert) Flash and other emerging technologies.
“TSW touchscreens feature the gorgeous design elements of today’s popular mobile devices, high resolution graphics that many people say exceeds the latest tablets, and highly responsive control performance to deliver an incredible user experience,” said Fred Bargetzi, vice president of Technology, Creston.
The TSW-1050 is reportedly easy to install, fast and fun to use, with ultra-bright high-definition display, capacitive touch screen technology, PoE, H.264 streaming video and edge-to-edge glass.
The capacitive touchscreen offers fast, highly responsive finger touch action, making TSW simple to navigate, PoE connectivity simplifies installation and its technology eliminates the need for any dedicated power wiring. High-performance H.264 streaming video capability enables crisp and colorfully vivid viewing of streaming video on the sharp high-definition display, just like smartphones or tablets.
Built-in Rava SIP Intercom technology claims to provide the added convenience of full duplex intercom, VoIP telephone and group paging functionality.
TSW-1050 comes in three slim models that are capable of providing the same high performance home control as larger touchscreens. When installed it provides a clean, high-tech appearance in any interior design.
Powered by Core 3 UI, users can interact with animated and 3D-like GUI effects, swipe, scroll, drag and drop. Its intuitive control apps, five-soft-touch buttons, cool kinetic effects, pre-labeled icons for different functions –together offer a one-of –its- kind automation experience.
Stated to be the newest addition to the Core 3 UI powered family of tablet-sized, intercom-equipped touchscreens, TSW-1050 promises to improve the quality of life for people in corporate conference rooms, homes and elsewhere.
