IP phone maker Yealink (News - Alert) announced it is launching a new business IP video phone VP530 -- the latest innovation in its video phone portfolio.

Featuring user-friendly features and a lifelike video communication experience, the new VP530 improves user experience and enhances productivity of clients.

“User experience is crucial to all communication tools,” said Jack Zhuang, CTO of Yealink, in a statement. “VP530 offers better voice quality, a faster response and integrates with more value-added business functions. All of these new features are able to improve the user experience in video communication and enhance business productivity at the same time.”

The new business video phone features a touch screen that has been accelerated three to four times faster compared with the VP-2009P, allowing it to deliver faster response time. With this accelerated speed, the VP530 provides a more satisfactory user experience and enhances personal productivity.

The phone features a seven inch TFT-LCD touch screen with 800 x 480 resolutions. Other major components include 2M pixels CMOS sensor camera, TI DaVinci dual-core Chipset, and full-duplex hands-free speakerphone with AEC

To ensure HD voice, the phone includes HD codec, HD handset and HD speaker.

There has been significant enhancement in the voice quality of the new business video phone. It includes enhancements of the bandwidth and a new HD sound box. The voice quality of VP530 exceeds all former video phone versions and is closer to the level of Yealink flagship, the T28.

Additionally VP530 integrates new features such as BLF, BLF list, Intercom, three-way audio conferencing, 20 DSS Key with status lights and others designed to improve team collaboration and operation efficiency.

The video phone is compatible with BroadSoft (News - Alert), company officials said.

Earlier in November, Yealink announced successful interoperability testing between PortaOne’s (News - Alert) flagship PortaSwitch VoIP call control and subscriber management platform and Yealink’s full range of VoIP phones.
