IP Trade Networks, IP phone maker and manufacturer of native IP-based systems, announced the availability of a new IP Touchphone delivering a range of highly reliable and secure IP voice and video consoles that address the needs of a wide category of critical users in a company.
The IP Touchphone range includes the Touchscreen Assistant Device (TAD) and Service Desk Console (SDC).
The TAD is designed to address the needs of receptionists, attendants and assistants in the enterprise and public sector environments. It allows operators to provide a broad range of communication services encompassing: IP voice, call queuing, advanced contacts management, call manipulation and an advanced boss-assistant feature set.
The SDC is tailored to the agents in help-desks, command centers or dispatching center environments. It features state of the art communication services such as: common view of queues, large amount of customizable contacts, dispatch keys and voice recording.
The IP Touchphone can store thousands of contacts with data including names, phone numbers, department, function and sites. “Additionally, the console can integrate Active directory, any other LDAP directories or import CSV files, and it also synchronizes Outlook contacts all while providing ‘Presence’ status of each employee,” said Bruno De Moor product manager IP Trade, in a statement.
IP Touchphone offers all the basic capability of traditional IP phone. It also has specific features like call dispatching, recalling a dialed number, waiting time alert, detailed call history, ability to send text message and e-mail, and intercom facilities.
It integrates with telephony infrastructure using Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) Manager version 5.X, 6.X, 7.X, 8.X and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express version 7.X, 8.X. with Cisco proprietary extensions for SIP. The system is based on Session Initialization Protocol (SIP) and does not require any server or any CTI (News - Alert) links to connect to the PBX.
IP Trade claims the IP Touchphone console delivers the most reliable and secure IP Attendant Console / Service Console available today.
Earlier in September, IP Trade Networks announced the general availability of a new trading turret - the T3M - which addresses the needs of traders with limited desktop space. The 10 inch touch-screen trading turret is suitable for traders wherever space is an issue or where a high degree of portability is required, such as in rapid-response project teams or business continuity and disaster recovery.
