VoIP
handset developer snom announced a distribution agreement with Novus, making its phones — including the popular m3 DECT (News - Alert) cordless VoIP handset — now available through an additional channel in North America. I
With the addition of the snom handsets, Novus will easily meet growing enterprise demand for SIP-based telephony solutions.
“We believe the snom products fit wonderfully with our existing enterprise offerings,” said “said Chris Meehan, managing director for Novus. “The quality of the snom products is a perfect match to the service quality that is standard at Novus.”
The snom line of VoIP endpoints are based on the SIP
standard, which is helping drive the evolution of Unified Communications (News - Alert) today. Furthering on the mobility aspect of UC, the DECT-based m3 handset is an extension of the snom desktop line, and has been designed to effectively complement other snom products.
With integrated DECT technology, m3 users not only have access to the features they have come to expect from their deskphones, but with the reliability they need in a business phone.
In fact, the snom m3 delivers a user friendly handset with the latest telephony features and the latest DECT standards, delivering flexibility and mobility with SIP-based call control functions. A host of useful business telephony features make the m3 not only a stylish addition to the desk, but a pragmatic alternative as well.
In addition to the m3, Novus will be offering the entire line of snom endpoints to its customers, complementing its entire service suite, including call center management, consultation, and asset management services. Together with snom, Novus will look to provide its customers with affordable solutions that meet their business communications requirements.
“This partnership will give us a vehicle to not only provide quality VoIP solutions to our customers, but also have our equipment backed by a team of experienced and knowledgeable consultants,” said Michael Knieling, executive director of sales and marketing for snom. “Together we can offer our customers a host of cost effective solutions with quality service and support.”
