snom Introduces e-Learning Program for VARs
By David Gitonga, TMCnet Contributing Writer
Are you a VoIP professional interested in learning about snom ONE scalable voice solutions and how to implement the snom ONE family of IP PBX solutions but don’t have the time to attend classes? snom University has now made it easier for you to learn about its VoIP solutions by introducing a new e-learning program that will allow you to earn a certification for it. The online course is available to residents in North and South America, Australia and New Zealand.
The e-learning program includes interactive software simulations with real-world examples of various aspects of the IP PBX (News - Alert) solution and nearly 50 fully-narrated videos. The program has 16 modules that teach specific aspects of the snom ONE IP PBX such as installation, deployment and support. Once you register for the online courses, you are required to take an online assessment that will see you earn your certification under successful completion.
snom University currently includes Webcasts which are free videos of the company’s products as well as Classroom Training for registered and certified Value Added Resellers (VARs). Successful participation and completion of the snom Classroom Training qualifies a student as a ‘snom Certified Engineer (SCE).’ The classroom trainings can either be for ‘snom IP phones’ or the ‘snom ONE IP PBX.’
snom ONE PBX solutions help maximize user convenience by allowing simultaneous incoming calls to ring on connected snom IP and cell phones. These solutions also come with standard extension features that include hot desking, call screening, and call redirections with presence and monitoring as well as voicemail to e-mail. These solutions can be easily integrated into CRM systems and they support multiple IP addresses environments.
The new online courses are meant to help certified VARs get up to speed in the shortest possible time frame. These courses can be taken any time for those registered. To access the training courses, visit onlinetraining.snom.com to get started.
