snom Introduces New Channel Program for Distribution of IP Phones in Australia and New Zealand

By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

In order to further support its regional growth, snom technology AG (News - Alert), provider of IP phones, IP PBXs and unified communications solutions for businesses, has announced a new channel program for Australia and New Zealand.

The IP phone provider has brought on three distribution partners in Australia and New Zealand to meet the growing demand for snom products in the region and provide the highest level of sales support and distribution services to the local community of snom registered and certified value added resellers (VARs), according the company officials.

In Australia, snom has named Allow Computer Products and IPL Communications as official distributor partners for Australia and New Zealand, while Compass Communications has been named an official distributor in New Zealand.

“Our worldwide distributor and partner network is the lifeblood of snom and we aim to enlist the best possible partners on every continent,” said Dr. Michael Knieling (News - Alert), executive vice president of sales and marketing, snom technology. “Australia and New Zealand has been a growing territory for snom and its products for some time, and we are proud to have three of the most resourceful and dedicated distributors in the region as part of our channel.”

With this new partnership, the three companies will join a worldwide network of more than 60 official snom distributors across six continents, servicing VARs worldwide. All snom distributors offer snom’s full suite of SIP based IP communications solutions, including desktop, wireless, and conference VoIP phones, IP PBXs and accessories. As part of the program, Alloy Computer Products, IPL Communications and Compass Communications will work in close coordination with snom Americas, according to the release.

“As our applicable markets continue to expand through SIP based PBXs and Microsoft Lync, the role of our distributors becomes even more crucial because they are our liaisons to the VAR community and ultimately our end customers worldwide,” said Tommy Lee (News - Alert), Director of Partner Alliances, snom technology. “These three distributors have demonstrated a great ability to incorporate our new products, such as snom OCS and the snom ONE IP PBX (News - Alert), into their own portfolios and quickly become knowledgeable evangelists for our technology with value added resellers across Australia and New Zealand. We look forward to working with them to build upon past success and take this new program to new level.”
