By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

snom technology, provider of IP communications  solutions for the enterprise and small business market, has released snom ONE plus, a new hardware-based version of  the company’s awarding winning snom ONE IP PBX.

snom has combined its business-class IP phones and the snom ONE plus to provide  a full-featured business-class IP telephony solution for organizations with 5 to 150 extensions, making it one of the most scalable plug-and-play systems on the market.

This week, snom will be showcasing its snom ONE plus at the snom booth (# 637) at the Enterprise Connect (News - Alert) Conference and Exposition, being held Feb. 28 – March 3 in Orlando, FL.

“The snom One plus offers VARs a total solution for the easy and efficient deployment of IP communications at a pricepoint that provides value for their SMB customers,” said Mike Storella, COO for snom. “By offering a fully integrated system including hardware, full featured IP PBX (News - Alert) software and a full suite of IP phones and endpoints, VARs can accelerate installation and focus on building their own businesses.”

The snom ONE plus provides VARs with a plug-and-play hardware appliance for business IP telephony that is pre -installed and configured with snom ONE IP PBX software for easy deployment with snom business IP desktop phones including the snom 3xx series, snom 8xx series, snom m9 DECT (News - Alert) phones, and snom MeetingPoint conference phone.

snom ONE plus provides SMBs with all the advanced IP PBX  functionalities including centralized address book, auto attendants, hunt groups, hot desking, shared line emulation and CRM integration. snom’s IP telephony also includes an array of advanced presence and monitoring features, such as remote extension monitoring, agent groups, remote worker support and cell phone twinning, according to the company.

“The snom ONE plus offers scale and flexibility, ranging from 5 – 150 extensions and offering a wide variety of port and connectivity configurations, that is unheard of in the industry and ensures growing businesses that they won’t have to replace their entire telephony system if they grow beyond a certain point or need to change connectivity platforms,” said Jonathan Greenwood, Managing Director at snom UK Ltd. and product manager for the snom ONE plus. “All that at a price point that makes full-feature IP telephony available to SMBs.”

The hardware version of the snom ONE plus comes in two versions: the snom ONE plus yellow, for up to 20 extensions, or the snom ONE plus blue, for up to 150 extensions. Both versions provide the same set of the snom ONE IP PBX features.

The snom ONE plus will be available in March of 2011 in North America through snom’s distributors and value added resellers, and comes with a three-year hardware warranty.
