snom ONE, the New Member of snom''s IP Phone Systems Family

By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

Earlier this month, snom released snom ONE, a new collection of IP PBX (News - Alert) systems to add to its already impressive IP phone systems family.  snom is known for providing Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephones based on open standard for enterprise communications, but now snom has taken its expertise and dedication to VoIP phones  a step further to create a SIP based PBX telephone system.

snom ONE is available in three versions; snom ONE free is a downloadable version for up to 10 extensions, snom ONE yellow offers an affordable solution for companies with up to 20 extensions and snom ONE blue offers up to 150 extensions and features that can support up to five different businesses off of the same IP PBX.

According to snom, the launch of its own IP PBX system builds off more than a decade of research and development in the IP communications space and means that for the first time, snom is in the solutions business.

snom ONE provides secure communication and supports secure web access through HTTPS using TLS and SRTP. snom ONE also supports operation in environments with multiple IP addresses making it safe and easy to place a call.

With snom ONE the calls can be made into the public telephone network (PSTN) either by standard PSTN gateways or by SIP trunking providers. snom ONE also supports other products, such as fax, as long as they support the SIP protocol.

snom ONE  increases the productivity of each user by supporting CSTA, which allows an easy integration into existing CRM systems. It also supports multiple languages and multiple time zones, which can be set up on system and user levels eliminating any barriers when used internationally.

If you are interested in trying snom ONE, download the free version, now available in North America.
