Voxitas Expands Business VoIP Network in Southeast U.S.

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

Voxitas, a VoIP service provider, reportedly has finished expanding its business IP telephony network into the southeast United States.

With this expansion, the company now can serve almost the entire southeast – Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi – with business class Quality of Service-based services.

The company sees the southeast region as an attractive growth market for the expansion of next-generation VoIP service since businesses in this region seek “economical” and “innovative” alternatives to their existing phone service, said Mike Morey, president at Voxitas (News - Alert).

This latest announcement enables businesses to take advantage of Voxitas’ True Connect Quality of Service enabled tier one delivery for business quality VoIP.

The T1 delivery solution is available for SIP trunking service. In each major region of the country, Voxitas network is located, and businesses can connect to the network via both True Connection, direct circuit connection, and the public Internet.

Company officials said that Voxitas interfaces with phone systems – both IP enabled and traditional, and saves business users up to 70 percent over traditional telephone service.

Voxitas can prioritize voice over data to deliver both voice and Internet services to businesses of all sizes, according to officials.

Formerly called NetLogic (News - Alert), Voxitas sells business VoIP and SIP trunking telephone service through commercial and wholesale partners. The company has certified its Business VoIP SIP service with more than 20 IP enabled phone systems such as Cisco, Linksys (News - Alert), Interactive Intelligence, Adtran, Allworx, Epygi and Fonality (News - Alert).

Voxitas offers VoIP telephony services using SIP trunks. In addition, the company provides long distance, Internet – T1, T3 / DS3, and Metro Ethernet – toll-free and emergency 911 services to single and multi-site IP public branch exchange (PBX) phone systems, in-bound and out-bound call centers, small to mid-size enterprises (SMBs), and wholesale carriers.

In June, as TMCnet reported, the company’s SIP trunking services were certified to work with the Interactive Intelligence all-in-one IP communications software suite to help customers easily support distributed locations. Voxitas TrueComposure and TrueDirection products were certified to work with the software.

Interactive Intelligence is a Platinum sponsor of Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO — the biggest and most comprehensive IP communications event of the year. ITEXPO (News - Alert) will take place in Miami, Florida, Feb. 2 to 4, 2009, featuring three valuable days of exhibits, conferences, and networking opportunities you can’t afford to miss. Don’t wait.
