ColoGuard, a provider of enterprise colocation services, announced partnership with IPsmarx (News - Alert) Technology, a provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions.

The partnership will give IPsmarx's customers access to ColoGuard's fast, direct network routes to cities around the world. It will also give access to the dedicated managed services offered by ColoGuard's parent company GalaxyVisions.

"With their focus on VoIP, we're able to offer our customers the best quality of service at the lowest possible price."

Launched in April 2011, ColoGuard Enterprise Colocation Solutions gained popularity with a network that provides direct connectivity to five Tier-1 providers and dark-fiber availability around the tri-state region.

The company’s network routes can reach most foreign countries in under 10 hops and well below the 300ms latency threshold for crystal-clear VoIP conversations. The company also offers separate network segments provisioned specifically for VoIP clients.

With this network, the company addresses the challenges – inefficient network routing and latency – associated with Internet telephone service.

This partnership allows VoIP service providers who work with IPsmarx to able to offer the clearest calls possible to their customers around the world, company officials said.

CologGuard's 15,000-square-foot Brooklyn data center has dedicated power lines from multiple providers as well as high-capacity generators, each with a 72-hour fuel supply. The facility is strengthened using security features like biometric scanners with pass-card access, mantraps at the main entry, fully archived video surveillance and 24/7/365 onsite monitoring and support.

IPsmarx Technology supports VoIP service providers in 66 countries. It has been providing feature rich VoIP solutions since 2001.
