Grandstream Expands IP Surveillance Cameras Offerings through Partnership with Video Insight

Consumers and distributors may be most familiar with Grandstream Networks (News - Alert) for its IP multimedia phone offerings, however, the company is also immersed in another aspect of IP technologies as well: video surveillance solutions.
To add to its already impressive line of IP surveillance cameras, Grandstream has recently announced its latest partnership to expand its product line of cameras with Video Insight’s Digital Video Management Systems.
Video Insight, a developer and vendor of digital video management systems, has certified Grandstream’s entire line of IP surveillance cameras with Video Insight’s Video Management Systems. Together, the certification will allow SMBs and larger enterprise customers to monitor and seamlessly integrate various Grandstream’s IP video surveillance cameras with Video Insight’s digital video management systems to create a complete and secure physical surveillance solution.

Grandstream’s IP video surveillance cameras include different models providing high definition, low light conditions ranging from CMOS & CCD cameras, box cameras, fixed dome cameras, cube cameras and outdoor cameras. According to the company, in order to provide a truly unified audio, video, surveillance solution, Grandstream’s entire line of IP video cameras are capable of 2-way, bi-directional SIP/VoIP audio and real-time video streaming capabilities to mobile phones and video phones and are fully compatible with Grandstream’s GXE IP PBX (News - Alert) as well as various other SIP-based IP PBX’s and Service Provider Networks.
