Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), the IP multimedia phone and video surveillance provider, has announced its latest partnership with HiperPBX, Inc., manufacturer of enterprise IP telephony solutions. Together, the two companies have successfully completed interoperability testing for call feature and remote auto-provisioning for Grandstream’s GXP series of IP multimedia phones with a number of HiperPBX’s IP-PBX (News - Alert) solutions.
After extensive testing, HiperPBX’s IP-PBX SH250, SH500, CP1000, CP1500 and CP3000 IP-PBX solutions are compatible with Grandstream’s GXP IP multimedia phone series to provide quality voice calls and PBX service.
“We are excited about the interoperability results of our new generation of HD-Audio IP-phones with HiperPBX platforms. This effort shows once again Grandstream’s commitment to providing high quality IP voice and video telephony solutions and ensuring broad interoperability with nearly all IP PBX platforms in a wide variety of markets,” said David Li (News - Alert), CEO of Grandstream.
With offices in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and in the U.S., HiperPBX, Inc., provides small and large companies with telecom infrastructure designed to optimize communications and business processes. In addition to the interoperability testing, HiperPBX has also announced it will officially recommend Grandstream’s GXP IP multimedia phones to its customer-base as the preferred IP phone option.
“The management of voice communications in large enterprises requires special attention to achieve optimal results. The mix of HiperPBX with Grandstream IP terminals allow us to offer an ideal infrastructure to secure success in these projects” explained Gustavo Scheveloff, international sales manager at HiperPBX Inc. “We are excited about this new cooperation with Grandstream, which is already bringing great benefits to our customers and plenty of options of IP-phones to perfectly fit in any scenario” he added.
According to company officials, Office-One, an office-leasing organization with offices in the U.S. and Argentina, has since taken advantage of this collaboration when it chose HipexPBX and Grandstream to upgrade its phone system.
“We needed a robust solution to serve a very demanding customer base. The solution put in place exceeded our technical requirements while staying right on budget,” said Juan Pucheta, Office-One manager. “The GXP2100 is an IP-phone with all the features and specs we could think of for our environment, while displaying great esthetics.”
