By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), a manufacturer of IP multimedia phones and video surveillance solutions, has announced its latest partnership with i2V, a provider of intelligent surveillance solutions based in India.

Under their agreement, the certification of Grandstream’s ONVIF-compliant IP video cameras and encoders will become integrated with i2V’s security/surveillance systems to create more complete and intelligent video surveillance solutions for SMBs, SMEs and enterprise customers.

According to company officials, the integration of i2V with Grandstream’s extensive range of GXV36xx Series IP Cameras and GXV35xx IP video encoders will offer flexible options to customers when choosing the right combination of IP cameras, Video Management Software and Video Analytics.

“i2V understands the intricacies of constructing well designed security and surveillance solutions for a range of customers, large and small,” said David Li (News - Alert), CEO of Grandstream. “We are very pleased to partner with i2V to help meet the growing surveillance needs with combined product offerings from both companies in the Indian as well as global market.”

The partnership between Grandstream and i2V provides a more unified IP multimedia solution, specifically addressing issues of security and surveillance requirements that are particularly apparent in the surveillance space today.

Grandstream’s line of award-winning IP video surveillance solutions deliver clear picture quality, integrated audio telephony features based on SIP standard, full compliance with industry standards such as ONVIF, and broad interoperability with most service providers and 3rd party SIP-based VoIP products.

i2V develops high-end machine vision security/surveillance systems, retail intelligence systems and traffic management systems for industrial, defense and civilian surveillance requirements. i2V offerings include IP surveillance solutions in the form of Advanced Video Management System, Video Analytics, and Customized third party device integration.

"i2V’s focus is on providing our global channel partners with the best and most complete solutions through expanding strategic partnerships,” said Sumit Aggarwal, founder of i2V Systems. “By working closely with Grandstream, we can assure our channel that the combined benefits of Grandstream’s IP network cameras and i2V software's video analytics and central video management capabilities will meet today's need for integrated solutions at an affordable cost both in India and worldwide.”
