Grandstream's IP Video Surveillance Cameras are Affordable and Effective

By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

Grandstream is well-known for providing its IP multimedia phones, but service providers and customers might not be as informed of its surveillance camera offerings. While the company is seeing positive traction for its surveillance solutions in Latin America and Europe, Grandstream’s cameras are just starting to have a presence in the U.S.

One of Grandstream’s popular cameras includes the GXV3615 Cube IP Camera. The GXV3615 is an affordable, advanced security protection solution for indoor business and residential surveillance under low light conditions. The GXV3615 series is ONVIF-compliant and available in two models: the GXV3615 (integrated PoE) and GXV3615W (integrated 802.11b/g/n WiFi (News - Alert)).

The GXV3615 can be installed easily within minutes and features multi-rate, H.264 real-time video streaming. The IP Cube Camera includes a high quality CMOS sensor and lens to deliver sharp picture quality under low-light conditions, integrated microphone and speaker and motion detection. The surveillance camera also includes a built-in high performance streaming server to allow 10+ simultaneous viewers and large pre-/post-event recording buffer.

Another one of Grandstream successful surveillance solutions includes the GXV3611, an indoor fixed dome IP camera that provides an indoor solution that can be easily mounted on walls or ceilings for maximum surveillance protection.

The GXV3611 features multi-rate H.264 video compression with excellent image quality and can control up to 36 cameras using GSurf video management software. Retail stores, restaurants, campuses, casinos, apartment buildings and business offices looking for a cost-effective, open standard surveillance solution can easily implement these two new indoor cameras for 24x7 security protection of people and assets. With SIP/VoIP support, business owners can also stream all monitoring activity to a mobile or video phone, from anywhere in the world, using the GXV3611’s 2-way audio and video streaming capability.
