Grandstream Announces Technology Partnership with SIP Print

By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Managing Editor

Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), the leading manufacturer of IP multimedia phones and other IP voice, video telephony and video surveillance solutions has announced a technology partnership with SIP Print LLC, the leading Pure SIP Recording Manufacturer. Together, the partnership will enable both companies to mutually certify and endorse each other’s products.

According to the release, SIP Print's VoIP call recording systems are a natural product line extension for Grandstream customers. This relationship creates a complete solution and high margin revenue growth opportunities for Grandstream’s channel partners and service provider customers by tapping into the underserved market for call recording /CALEA compliance solutions for Unified Communications-as-a- Service.

SIP Print is widely recognized as the industry leader in VoIP (SIP) call recording providing an affordable plug-and-play appliance that offers pure system-level SIP voice recording for organizations with a need to record up to 200 seats per system, unlimited seats per system cluster. As organizations increasingly turn to IP-based phone systems, and as CALEA compliance requirements, regulatory changes, and corporate quality programs drive strong demand for call recording, SIP Print is well positioned as a leading provider of affordable on-premise and cloud based systems to record and archive calls on these SIP/VoIP telephony platforms.

“Grandstream Networks is a natural fit for SIP Print, a highly respected developer of SIP Telephony systems delivering an impressive value proposition to its ever-increasing roster of partners, distributors and customers,” said Don Palmer, CEO and president of SIP Print. “We are pleased to join forces with Grandstream in communicating the availability and value of SIP Print’s award-winning yet affordable call recording solution for Grandstream communications systems.”

Among the products that are now compatible with SIP Print is Grandstream’s line of award-winning IP Multimedia and Enterprise IP phones, as well as Grandstream IP PBX. The line is highlighted by the Skype (News - Alert)-certified GXV3140 IP Multimedia Phone, the new GXV3175 IP Multimedia Phone (News - Alert) with 7” touch screen display, the GXP21xx/14xx series Enterprise IP Phones including the GXP2120 6-line HD IP Phone and the GXP1450 Entry Level HD IP Phone, the Small Business/Home Office IP Phones, and the GXE5024/5028 All-In-One IP PBX (News - Alert) for small businesses.

Grandstream Networks will also in attendance at the MECOM show in Abu Dhabi this week from May 16-18 at the National Exhibition Center. Also exhibiting is Grandstream’s partner Tabbara, who will be highlighting Grandstream’s products along with SIP Print. Coincidentally, Tabbara is the company responsible for introducing Grandstream and SIP Print and is the reason behind their partnership.

“We regard both SIP Print and Grandstream as companies with promising growth in an attractive industry. We are very optimistic that the combined innovative solutions of both will provide significant opportunities to further broaden both product offerings and enhance our business relationships with many long-standing customers. We are excited to be one of the players in the partnership era and take part in communicating the value of this leading-edge products combination,” said Mohamad Tabbara, CEO of Tabbara General Company, S.A.
