Unified communications has been evolving fast, making far-reaching developments in the enterprise space. A recent industry report from TechNavio predicted that the global unified communications market will grow at a CAGR of 15.85 percent over the period 2012-2016. This provides a golden opportunity for IP communications providers to expand their business.
To build on this opportunity, CallTower (News - Alert), a provider of enterprise-grade unified communications solutions, announced it has expanded network services in two countries, Australia and China, in partnership with its strategic partners OneStream and GTT. Both OneStream and GTT provide IP telecommunication network services across the world.
Through this expansion, CallTower will provide network services as well as enterprise-class unified communications suite that allows companies to connect seamlessly between offices and within their customers, both US-based and internationally, through voice, hosted e-mail, conferencing and contact center solutions.
In addition to building network and voice services in China and Australia, the company plans to expand into United Kingdom, Poland, Brazil and Hong Kong in 2014.
“CallTower continues to develop a diverse service offering by expanding our network services,” said Greg Reynolds, CallTower vice president of Technology, in a statement. “Few other providers in our space can now provide our reach and breadth of service offerings both domestically or internationally.”
In another recent development in the company’s international expansion, CallTower was recently selected by LesConcierges, a provider of global concierge services, to deliver integrated voice and call center services.
Under this partnership, LesConcierges will utilize CallTower’s international network services, as well as CallTower’s Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) encrypted voice services, external exchange integration and LiveOps Call Center. These unified communications services will help LesConcierge to provide localized services for their growing customer base.
Matt Clemenson, chief technology officer, LesConcierges, said, “For LesConcierges, having a telephony services partner that is truly global is essential to providing seamless service to our VIP clients. CallTower provides service that decreases our cost and time to scale, and increases our geographic resiliency, with outstanding support.”
