Canada based business telecom provider ThinkTel (News - Alert) Communications has announced the certification of its SIP Trunking solution for Zultys IP Phone Systems.
Recently, the company received the certification with Zultys (News - Alert) and its innovative SIP-based Unified Communication solution and it’s looking forward to introducing it to its customers, according to Dave Damer, CEO at ThinkTel.
Damer said that the company has demonstrated that Zultys' pure SIP Phone (News - Alert) System works perfectly on ThinkTel's new nationwide CLEC network.
“We've built our network for SIP, so it's a great fit that eliminates legacy technology to save businesses time and money,” he said.
After a battery of tests that included flow, DTMF transmission reliability and recognition, and voice quality, ThinkTel was confirmed for interoperability with Zultys MX platform. Moreover, it has been certified for all aspects of functionality.
Companies will be able to reduce points of failure thanks to the certification of Zultys MX product line with ThinkTel's next-generation SIP Trunking product over their coast-to-coast dedicated IP voice network.
Company officials said that ThinkTel's redundant network combined with Zultys' IP Phone systems provide peace of mind to companies that are seeking a reliable, intuitive system.
Zultys is a provider of a true all-in-one unified communications solution. Zultys IP phone systems integrate voice, video, data and mobility -- in a single appliance -- to optimize collaboration for businesses of all sizes.
“Our MX product line has been SIP-capable at both the trunk and station side from its inception, as the company management has always believed in the ultimate adoption of this protocol within the business market place,” said Steve Francis, chief sales and marketing officer at Zultys, adding that partnering with ThinkTel enhances the company’s ability to deliver the benefits of VoIP end to end.
Earlier in May, Distributel Business Services became known as ThinkTel. The company called it the biggest change in branding since the division’s founding in 1988.
