This is not your father’s network anymore. The surge in software-defined networking offerings is showing no signs of stopping. Adoption of SD-WAN and Network-as-a-Service is on the rise in a big way, as the network is central to the current phase of digital transformation taking place.

Today, Magna 5 announced a new partnership with VergX. The pairing puts the VergX Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering in the hands of Magna5’s Agent Channel and enterprise customers.

VergX developed the NaaS offering via Versa Networks’ cloud-native multi-tenant software platform and portfolio of security and networking services to provide Magna5 with a robust, fully managed and tiered set of offerings including: SD-WAN, unified threat management and next-generation firewall.

"We enable business transformation for our customers through the cloud, allowing them to create opportunities for growth, agility and competitiveness," said Greg Forrest, CEO, Magna5. "We offer this by continuing to innovate and integrate best-of-breed solutions, like Versa Networks SD-WAN and SD-Security, into our infrastructure, through this partnership with VergX, while ensuring a best-in-class user experience."

With the addition of SD-WAN and SD-Security to its cloud-based cornucopia of offerings, Magna5 creates a complete, well-rounded networking portfolio – spanning the alphabet soup of SaaS (News - Alert), UCaaS, IaaS and now NaaS.

"We're excited that Magna5 has chosen to become a VergX reseller and embrace this innovative NaaS offering," said Chris Chirico, COO, VergX. "This multi-tenant platform enables companies like Magna5 to offer a true enterprise-class SD-WAN and SD-Security solution to their customers and agent channels."

Alphabet soup isn’t just for sick days anymore. Our software-defined reality is permeating every nook and cranny of the network. Adoption is no longer a question of if, but when. The power of the cloud is something to behold, as it is aiding to usher in a more flexible, high-performing and pocket-friendly era in networking.

What’s in your network?
