ComTec Integrated Solutions (News - Alert), a provider of communications, managed IT services, security, access control, cabling and interactive media solutions, hopes to better enable businesses to modernize their telephony platform with the release of its new end-to-end hosted IP offering called iBridge.
“We can now offer a complete end-to-end solution for a single low price while providing customers the peace of mind that they made the right decision,” said Michael Vertolli, CEO of ComTec Integrated Solutions.
What makes the solution unique is its ability to ensure that local area networks can support new voice solutions without negatively impacting the operation of a business, ComTec explained. The company accomplished this by integrated the Phybridge (News - Alert) PoLRE (Power over Long Reach Ethernet) switch innovation as part of their hosted offering.
Vertoli explained that ComTec’s customers wanted to ensure that they receive Quality of Service (QOS) voice solutions over a LAN regardless of the data network they are on. Moreover, they need to be sure that their voice service will be operational even if their data LAN fails.
“Bottom line is that they want security and simplicity,” Vertoli said.
The integrated solution is aimed at legacy customers wanting to migrate to a hosted or premise based IP Telephony solution.
“We are excited to partner with ComTec and appreciate their proactive thinking,” added John Croce, CEO of Phybridge. “Their desire to create iBridge, a complete simple to deploy solution that eliminates all concerns for customers, is sure to be a winner and we are glad to be an important part of that offering.”
ComTec was in news earlier this month for completing interoperability testing with a selection of Cobham SATCOM Maritime VSAT stabilized antenna systems and the ROSS Open Antenna Management (ROAM) protocol.
