Recently, REVE Systems announced even more benefits and innovation by offering users the ability to also enjoy instant messaging and auto provisioning.

With the iTel Mobile Dialer Express, service providers can offer instant messaging to end users to enhance the brand presence. To leverage this inexpensive capability, users simply download the dialer to start using the service. They need only to enter their GSM mobile number as the PIN number. Once set up, the user can launch peer-to-peer texting and chatting and peer-to-peer voice calls. They can also set and modify login status and have a little fun with a wide variety of emoticons - nothing like a little personality in all communications.

The auto provisioning feature allows the application to treat the mobile number on the end user device as the User ID, easing the sign up process for instant messaging. The password is sent to the mobile number through IVR or SMS to configure the app on the mobile phone. The app itself is seamlessly integrated with the user’s mobile phonebook, buddy list creation is possible among contacts using the same app and those contacts without the app can be invited to do so.

This functionality is critical as ease of use ensures actual use. As mobile consumers, we don’t tend to like anything that takes unnecessary steps or is challenging to configure. We do want low costs associated with mobile VoIP and its supporting features, but we want them delivered easily and seamlessly. With these latest supporting features from REVE Systems, it appears they got it just right.
