REVE Systems’ iTel Switch Plus is described by company officials as, “a carrier grade softswitch platform with integrated billing,” which has been designed to “suit VoIP service providers with retail and wholesale operations, irrespective of their scale of business.”

The IP softswitch has dual levels of security; to restrict unauthorized use of IP, as well as IP and password-based protection which can be further enhanced with iTel Pin Protector (to prevent unauthorized use of PIN as it comes with IMEI based authentication).

In addition, the hosted softswitch, which can be installed in a single server as well as in a distributed architecture – also it has an integrated billing system ‘iTel Billing’ with next generation billing features included.

iTel Billing’s ‘Never Go Negative’ or ‘NGN’ feature intelligently prevents user account balances from going negative and feature is specially developed to prevent losses incurred by many resellers. In ordinary softswitches, when the main account balance is finished but the call traffic is still live, it causes negative balances - but iTel Switch Plus intelligently monitors all running calls and when account balances are extremely low, it checks and allows a call only if there is enough balance to continue the call.

Now it’s even easy for VoIP service providers to monitor their business as iTel Switch Plus provides flexible monitoring reports such as a call log report for live commentary on servers, and comparison reports of A to Z routes among different providers – which can be useful for making business decisions.Generally, most IP softswitches allow two or three levels of reseller creation.

iTel Switch Plus on the other hand, gives VoIP service provider the flexibility to create 'N' level of resellers at any level. iTel Switch Plus owner can assign the resellers different roles and rights as per requirement. So any reseller can create unlimited levels of resellers.
