As a provider of hosted predictive dialer software and cloud-based contact center solutions, LiveVox (News - Alert) is well aware of the benefits of moving operational technologies to the cloud. With such knowledge, the company has decided to enlist the help of Ariba, Inc. to improve efficiency where sales contracting is concerned.
LiveVox implemented Ariba Contracts back in September to begin this process. The applications from Ariba delivered salesforce.com’s social enterprise platform for employee social apps entirely in the cloud on Force.com.
Mark Mallah, corporate counsel for LiveVox, stated, “Sales contracting can be a slow, frustrating process that can delay or even risk deal closure. By moving the process to the cloud, we have been able to professionalize the process, deliver fast, quality reporting, and achieve better controls over the contract management process. We are also positioning ourselves--through Ariba--to accelerate cycle times.”
Ariba is a business commerce network and provides a unique cloud-based application that improves efficiency, generates contracts quickly, improves the speed and accuracy of reporting, and helps businesses gain greater control over contact management in general.
With the Ariba Contracts on Force.com, LiveVox is able to streamline its contacting processes with automation. It allows multiple people to collaborate in real time thereby facilitating the process of creating and managing contracts across departments.
Tim Minahan, chief marketing officer for Ariba, stated, “The sales cycle is inherently social. You’ve got to engage with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, in a completely transparent manner. Unfortunately, traditional contracting solutions and processes don’t allow for this.”
Mallah knows that the benefits of moving to the cloud far outweigh the costs at this point. The ability to perform rapid contract creation, gain better controls, and faster and more accurate reporting are all significant advantages given the implementation of a cloud-based solution.
Mallah is set to speak on this subject at Ariba LIVE on April 11. Stay tuned on the Hosted Predictive Dialer channel for updates on the companies’ partnership.
