Instead of Email, Send a Voice Broadcast

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

Along with the need for businesses to reduce costs and improve customer service are cost efficient systems that make communications with customers more efficient.
For this reason, Hosted IVR solutions are increasing in popularity over basic IVR applications.

To invoke the use of these cost effective interactive voice message solutions, companies utilize click to call technology and voice broadcasts.

Voice Broadcast is an alternative to email and offers valuable information to the recipient—helping increase to the response rate over mail that is either never opened, or sent to spam folders.

For businesses, this offers a whole new way to reach customers and offer guaranteed message delivery.

Voice Broadcasts can be used to confirm or reschedule customer appointments, take a customer service survey or collect feedback from clients, as well as a way to promote new business services, and other options.

As Irv Shapiro, CEO at Ifbyphone (News - Alert), Inc. notes in a blog post, "Voice Broadcast as an Email Alternative, "Just as email used properly enhances your customer relationships and improves sales, Voice Broadcast used properly is a more reliable delivery vehicle than email, which all to often today ends up in someone’s spam folder."

As an example, Shapiro notes a heating and air conditioning company switching to voice broadcasts for customers to guarantee their reminders and other information reaches them.

Also, to include with the voice broadcast, an option to transfer to the company's office and make an appointment during the call offers improved customer services.

With Ifbyphone’s Web-Based Voice Broadcast service, messages are delivered over the telephone and can include recorded and dynamic information to provide customers with the information they need and the ability to interact with the message on new levels.
