VoIP migration company Citel announced today that its SIP Handset Gateway is now certified as compliant with two of Avaya’s key VoIP solutions.
Compliance testing of the Handset Gateway is complete for Avaya Communication Manager and Avaya (News - Alert) Converged Communication Server.
“Now, enterprises with multiple locations and PBX handsets from multiple vendors can connect seamlessly to Avaya’s robust SIP-based IP platform, reduce total costs and minimize the disruption to their business as they migrate to a voice over IP network,” Citel’s CEO, Mike Robinson, explained in a press release.
Citel is a member of Avaya’s DeveloperConnection Program, which helps Avaya customers expand the value of their network investments by testing and certifying compatibility with third-party products.
“Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-breed capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure -- speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs,” Citel said in the press release.
