High Availability SIP proxy is a part of the fault tolerant call survival architecture for Q-Suite.
With this new addition, hosted cloud based service providers and large premise based operations will now be able to deliver enterprise-class contact center solutions with multi-tenant option.
The load balancing feature will allow Q-Suite, the industry’s premier call center software for Asterisk telephony to scale to multiple Asterisk servers to handle the peak load of very large contact center operations while offering its advanced queuing and skills based routing.
Officials confirmed that Q-Suite will also be able to continue its expansion into the large and very large contact center deployments.
“The built-in tools and the extensive feature-sets make Q-Suite the ideal candidate for contact centers using Asterisk telephony. Q-Suite with load balancing can now handle very high concurrent call volume, scaling effortlessly to multiple telephony servers. Q-Suite ACD controls and manages the call routing and distribution seamlessly, using skills based routing and queue prioritization,” said James Terhune, Chief Technology Officer at Indosoft (News - Alert), in a statement. “When deployed as a multi-tenant hosted contact center platform, Q-Suite can scale with the growth of the managed services.”
The recent enhancement to Q-Suite’s SIP proxy will enable Q-Suite to offer High Availability with large concurrent call handling capacity to contact centers that want to use Asterisk as their telephony platform.
