Five9 Improves Resiliency, Scalability of Cloud-Based Call Centers with Internap Data Center

End-to-end Internet business products and services provider, Internap Network Services Corporation , has announced that on-demand call center software provider, Five9 (News - Alert), is improving the resiliency and scalability of its cloud-based call centers by using Internap’s data center in New York City. 


For a number of years, Five9 was growing at a rate that was faster than the on-demand call center industry as a whole. As a result, the company needed to provide reliable, geographical redundancy to support its continued expansion.

The company turned to Internap to make this happen. Internap’s (News - Alert) SAS 70 Type II facility is located in what is positioned as the global communications hub of New York City at 111 8th Avenue. This facility offers a number of layers of hardened physical security and is staffed and secure 24x7. As a state-of-the-art data center, it is served by top-tier telecommunications carriers and is supported with fully-redundant power and HVAC systems to ensure service continuity.
