TouchStar Hosted Division Becomes TelStar Hosted, Reports Record Growth for Call Center Systems

TouchStar Hosted Division Becomes TelStar Hosted, Reports Record Growth for Call Center Systems

With hosted call center software provider, TouchStar’s recent sale of its assets to Noble Systems (News - Alert), a call center solutions provider, the company handed off all of its branded and intellectual assets.

In doing so, the company’s on-premise division, sold off to Noble, has been separated from TouchStar (News - Alert) Hosted, which has experienced significant growth over the past two years.

With TouchStar’s software now running under the Noble Systems network, the TouchStar Hosted division will continue as TelStar Hosted Solutions.

TelStar Hosted Solutions will operate independently providing both Noble TouchStar hosted call center systems and Noble DataTel through a license agreement with Noble.

“With the significant increase in the demand for hosted call center solutions and with the multiple product offerings, we’ve been able to capitalize on the demand by servicing a broader spectrum of the market than our single solution competitors,” Connie Anderson, TelStar’s director of sales and customer service said.

TelStar’s recent two-year 200 percent growth – and record sales for 2009 – makes the company an ideal supplier of the TouchStar systems, which are positions to all companies, both SMBs and large scale enterprises.

Chris Rieple, TelStar’s division president, said that building a hosted business takes time and growth is usually slow and incremental.

“When the premise and hosted businesses were separated in early 2008, we never expected the hosted group to become so profitable, so fast,” Rieple said.
This comes at a very opportune time, as the company’s latest acquisition limited their product expansion. But, with the new hosted division being supported in the hands of TelStar, the company’s systems will have more room for growth in the next year.

The company’s stable and strong systems they provide, combined with an aggressive sales team strong in technical operations, gives TouchStar’s assets a significant advantage in regards to their hosted division’s new TelStar brand.

Recently, TouchStar discussed plans to continue its software sales contract with reseller, TouchStar Call Center Software.

The U.K.-based reseller will continue sales in the United Kingdom, supporting the TouchStar product line that has gauged so much success for the company over the years.

Within the United Kingdom, the TouchStar brand will be retained globally as part of Noble’s solution portfolio, allowing TouchStar customers to have an easy shift into the change brought on by the acquisition.

Despite the turmoil an acquisition can bring to a company, their customers and even their products, TouchStar has been staying afloat and covering all of their bases in what could’ve been a more stressful time for the company.
