Hosted Call Center Solution Provider Adds Sales Lead Information Offering to Increase Customer Acquisition

SalesPortal (News - Alert), the first partnership marketing network for enterprises with contact centers, has unveiled that its customers can receive real-time sales lead information generated by their marketing partners.


SalesPortal is a hosted contact center solution with the functionality to match up partner companies, create and manage campaigns, present end-of-call offers to the agent desktop and transfer calls to partner contact centers. This patented cloud-based technology enables companies to engage customers with relevant end-of-call offers in sales and service contact centers. Global brands use the platform as a core component of customer engagement and customer acquisition strategies, while marketing and contact center executives adopt SalesPortal as a revenue source and an extension of marketing partnership programs.

The solution enables companies with contact centers to present customers with relevant offers from marketing partners at the end of calls, generating new revenue streams in the process. Interested customers are live-transferred to the partnering companies, providing these partners with a new low-cost, high-quality customer acquisition channel.

“SalesPortal operates in a phone-centric environment, where a premium is placed on leveraging real time interactions,” said Sujay Rao, SalesPortal’s director of product management. “The combination of callers who opt in for an offer and the ability to respond to them immediately with a follow up call supports a higher lead-to-sales conversion rate.”

This latest feature is a separate offering from the existing real-time live call transfers already available to companies on SalesPortal. Companies can choose whether they want to receive live call transfers or receive the sales lead as customer information. The new feature enables marketers to receive customer leads using existing lead-capture Web forms, post customer information in real time to a CRM system with SalesPortal’s web services API, and select lead delivery options once at the account level for all campaigns.
