Cycle30, a provider of hosted order-to-cash billing services, recently announced it had been named to the 2011 Cool Vendors list by Gartner (News - Alert), Inc. in the category, "Cool Vendors in Communication Service Provider Operational and Business Delivery."
The annually-published list, which focuses on vendors that offer new delivery models and help communication service providers (CSPs) improve customer interactions, was written by Norbert Scholz, Kamlesh Bhatia, and Martina Kurth.
"Cycle30's approach is unique in the BSS/OSS industry," said Jim Dunlap, president and general manager of Cycle30. "Cycle30's operator-side heritage can especially aid operators that want a partner with real-world experience running an order-to-cash platform. It's an honor to have this model recognized by an organization as prestigious as Gartner."
According to Gartner, a cool vendor is described as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are innovative, enable users to do things they couldn't do before; impactful, have, or will have, business impact (not just technology for the sake of technology); intriguing, have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months.
