For music enthusiasts looking to enjoy music with precision and detail, Sennheiser has introduced a new line of Professional I headphones, the IE 6, IE 7 and the IE 8.
The new headphones include the same pro-grade audio provided to on-stage performers. This gives consumers who enjoy a quality listening experience the ability to enjoy music and not be bothered by ambient noise.
Eric Palonen, product manager for Sennheiser's consumer electronics division explained, "This range benefits from our experience in the professional monitoring sector. The IE ear-canal headphones are ideal for music fans who attach great importance to accurate sound reproduction."
To provide professional quality, the headphones "use dynamic transducers that cover the entire frequency
range with one system."
The ear-canal headphones also come with ear adapters to ensure a perfect fit and better offer precise audio reproduction.
For consumers looking to enjoy the bass, the IE 6 includes passive attenuation up to 20 dB and a frequency response of 10 to 18,000 Hz, for deep, quality bass.
The IE 7 offers a frequency response of 10 to 19,000 Hz and attenuation up to 20 dB for a balanced and natural sound.
And the IE 8 offers the ability for users to completely customize the frequency response for their listening preferences. These headphones include a low-profile dial on each earphone that enables users to customize the bass response. These headphones include a frequency response range from 10 to 20,000 Hz, and passive attenuation of up to 26 dB.
The IE 6 and IE 7 ear-canal headphones will hit stores in March 2008 and the IE 8 will follow in April 2008.
Sennheiser also introduced new tiny headphones designed especially for travelers and a new addition to their Bluetooth
wireless headset line-up at CES (News - Alert) in Las Vegas.
