HD Videoconferencing: Worldwide Sales Soaring for LifeSize

High Definition technology has taken off as the media type of choice for video communications systems.

Noticing this same 'boom' in their sales, LifeSize, a provider and developer of high definition video communications products announced today an increase in sales of their LifeSize video communications systems, rising quarter-after-quarter..
According to a news release, in the first quarter of 2007 revenue was up approximately 239 percent year-over-year and up 34 percent over the fourth quarter in 2006.
LifeSize room was first introduced in December of 2005 designed for medium to large groups providing them with the ability to have life-like communications via a video conference.
In August 2006, they then introduced LifeSize Team to provide small to medium groups with the same ability to communicate and collaborate more efficiently.
And while several other vendors have entered into the market in a bid to offer high quality video communications LifeSize maintains its claim to offer not only high quality but also affordable HD Video conferencing solutions.
Commenting on the company's success, Craig Malloy, CEO of LifeSize said in a statement to the press, "High definition video over IP networks will be the most important growth area in communications technology over the next decade, and LifeSize is uniquely positioned to make this a reality."
