ClearOne (News - Alert), a global provider of high-performance audio conferencing solutions, announced it has named a new vice president of worldwide sales – Mark Allen Fletcher – who will fill the post and report directly to Zee Hakimoglu, the company’s president, CEO and chairman.

 

Fletcher brings more than 20 years of experience in the audio-visual and communications industries. Mark has served in senior management roles in companies such as Tandberg (News - Alert), Samsys Technologies and Blue Water Communications.

At Tandberg, Fletcher was responsible for the company’s sales and marketing efforts in the Eastern U.S. and helped execute partner contracts with companies such as SBC Communications, Verizon (News - Alert), Northrop Grumman and others.

 

Fletcher has extensive experience partnering with leading vendors and system integrators including IBM (News - Alert), BEA, NCR, Unisys, Raytheon, and many others, and has demonstrated the tactical ability to successfully lead direct and indirect sales teams. He has a proven track record of attaining aggressive revenue goals, spearheading new product development, leading strategic alliances and opening new markets.

 

Fletcher earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, is a member of many industry organizations, and holds certifications in audio and networking technologies.
